Meet Charles "Carlos" Jose Ramirez — Real Estate Broker Serving Northern Colorado

I was raised in Northern California in a family deeply rooted in real estate. My Mexican grandparents moved to California as children and eventually became real estate investors—pioneers in their own right. Some of my most cherished memories are of our family trips into the High Sierra Mountains. My father, a realtor at the time, would take us off-road in the company jeep to scout remote mountain properties. I was captivated by the towering pines, wide-open meadows, and the quiet beauty of the wilderness.

Then one day, as a teenager, I heard John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High,” and something clicked. I knew I was meant to live in Colorado—surrounded by the Rockies, winding rivers, and the wide-open sky.

Years later, that dream became reality. My wife of 35 years and I relocated to Fort Collins and settled in the charming town of Windsor. We quickly fell in love with the welcoming community, scenic parks, and serene lakes. When I’m not helping clients, I'm often hiking, biking, fly fishing, practicing archery, or exploring Colorado’s Front Range and beyond. I'm also a self-proclaimed foodie with a passion for cooking—I was taught the art of creating Mexican cuisine that honors my roots.

Professionally, I bring a diverse background to real estate. I studied architecture and worked as an architectural draftsman, which gave me a strong foundation in building design and structure. I later spent years in operations management in Silicon Valley’s high-tech industry where I developed strong skills in overseeing projects from start to finish—a process much like real estate, along with valuable experience in retail and commercial sales. These experiences have shaped my approach as a real estate broker—detail-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven.
